The Day Group is made up of many of the women who first planted roots for our Atlanta chapter, as well as others who prefer to get together in the day time.  The Lunch Bunch group meets the second Wednesday of every month at a member's home or local restaurant for lunch, a relevant program and DG camaraderie.  Check the Events Calendar and watch for Evites to come to your inbox for each month's events.

DG Dinner Club has long made the rounds of Atlanta's diverse selection of restaurants, enjoying different cuisines all over the metro area.  Now, we're taking it up a notch!  Some months will remain casual group dinners, and some months we'll meet for other fun activities around Atlanta.  Days and times will change from month to month, so be sure to check the Events Calendar  and watch for Evites to come to your inbox.

Book Club is a great opportunity to read new books and spend time with your DG sisters.  We read a variety of books - from fiction to biographies to classics.  Meetings take place every other month and are held in member's homes and area restaurants or coffee shops.  Check the Events Calendar and watch for Evites to come to your inbox for each event.

Even the downpour couldn’t dampen the DG spirit at the Delta Iota house in Athens on March 28, 2009 as alumnae and collegians gathered to celebrate Founders Day.  The Atlanta alumnae were invited guests of the Athens Association.  The Atlanta chapter held a silent auction with items generously donated by DG alumnae and collegians.  The auction raised $312 for collegiate scholarships funded by DG Foundation, Foundation Fighting Blindness and Center for the Visually Impaired.  It was a day to honor Anna, Mary and Eva and share in the DG spirit!
