Delta Gamma Fraternity

Welcome to the Atlanta Alumnae Chapter of Delta Gamma Fraternity.  Now is a great time to be a Delta Gamma in Atlanta!  The Atlanta Alumnae Chapter has a lot to offer appealing to a wide-range of interests and is flexible to your current time commitments.  We are always eager to welcome Delta Gammas who are new to the Atlanta Area and want to get involved in alumnae life.

      The Atlanta Alumnae Chapter was founded in January 1954. Since then, our group has consisted of women who pledged Delta Gamma Fraternity and now live in the Greater Atlanta area.  Delta Gamma's alumnae groups help us stay connected to one another and encourage continued support our philanthropy.  This website is your official resource for Atlanta Delta Gamma Alumnae news, events, and foundation activities. 

      We support the Delta Gamma Foundation through our fundraising efforts as well as local charities such as Center for the Visually Impaired and Foundation Fighting Blindness.  Every year we donate towards scholarships that support Delta Gamma Collegians.  This year one will support a Delta Iota Collegian at the University of Georgia and the second is the Dorothy Wood Felton Memorial Scholarship designated for a collegian in Region 3.  We also support Panhellenic scholarships as well, creating a unity between all Greek organizations. 

      We have diverse programming events held at different times of day and on various days of the week so that you can join us regardless of your schedule.  We also have several Keystone Events each year and this year is no exception: Kickoff, a Ways and Means Wine Tasting Event, Holiday Party, Red and White Ball, Founders Day, and a Collegiate event to support the Delta Iota Chapter at the University of Georgia.  In between these events, we have monthly events such as Book Club, Dinner Club, and Lunch Bunch with a new “DGs in the City” for those that want to experience Atlanta nightlife with their DG sisters.  You can find information about the latest Atlanta Alumnae Chapter events on our Events Calendar page.

      We have great volunteers that put their time and effort into DG in order to bring these various programming and fundraising events to you.  Feel free to contact us anytime if you want more information regarding a specific group or program as we are always looking for new members and volunteers.  If you would like to participate in the direction of our chapter as a board member, or have ideas or suggestions for us, please contact me or any of our officers.       Your support, through your presence, dues, and donations give life to our alumnae chapter.  We hope you will join us and become a member and continue to watch your rose bloom as you promised on your initiation day.  Continue to be a diamond in Delta Gamma!
