Delta Gamma Fraternity

Welcome to the Atlanta Alumnae Chapter of Delta Gamma Fraternity.  Now is a great time to be a Delta Gamma in Atlanta!  The Atlanta Alumnae Chapter has a lot to offer appealing to a wide-range of interests and is flexible to your current time commitments.  We are always eager to welcome DGs who are new to the Atlanta area and want to get involved in alumnae life.

The Atlanta Alumnae Chapter was founded in January 1954.  Since then, our group has consisted of women who pledged Delta Gamma Fraternity and now live in the Greater Atlanta area.  Delta Gamma's alumnae groups help us stay connected to one another and encourage continued support to our philanthropy. 

We support the Delta Gamma Foundation through our fund raising efforts as well as local charities such as Center for the Visually Impaired, Foundation Fighting Blindness, and our newest addition, Prevent Blindness Georgia.  Every year we donate towards a scholarship that supports a Delta Iota Collegian at the University of Georgia.  With your help, we can sponsor additional scholarships!  We also support Panhellenic scholarships as well, creating a unity between all Greek organizations. 

We have diverse programming events held at different times of day and on various days of the week so that you can join us regardless of your schedule.  We also have several Keystone Events each year and this year is no exception: Kickoff, our Annual Ways and Means Wine Tasting Event, Holiday Party, Red and White Ball, Founders Day, and Collegiate Brunch.  In between these events, we have monthly events such as Book Club, Dinner Club, DGs in the City and Lunch Bunch with a new “DG Mommies and Me” group in the works.  You can find information about the latest Atlanta Alumnae Chapter events on our website at: www.deltagammaatlanta.org  This website is your official resource for Atlanta Delta Gamma Alumnae news, events, and foundation activities. 

We have great volunteers that put their time and effort into DG in order to bring these various programming and fund raising events to you.  Feel free to contact us anytime if you want more information regarding a specific group or program as we are always looking for new members and volunteers.  If you have ideas or suggestions for us, please contact me or any of our officers.  You can find our email addresses on our website.

Your support, through your presence, dues, and donations give life to our alumnae chapter.  The Atlanta Alumnae Chapter, with your help, received THREE Regional Awards and one National Award at Convention!!!  We won: The Five Stars to Alumnae Success Award, Award of Excellence (Outstanding Chapter), Excellence in Programming Innovation Award, and Outstanding Communications Award!  This is a huge accomplishment and we couldn’t have done any of this without your support through your presence, dues, and donations.  We ask that you continue to contribute to the growth of our chapter.  For those of you who have been missing lately, we hope that you will return and help us contribute to even greater successes!

With your support, we will be even more successful at Convention 2012 in Indianapolis!  We hope you will join us and become a member and continue to watch your rose bloom as you promised on your initiation day.  Continue to be a diamond in Delta Gamma!
