Atlanta Alumnae Chapter
Delta Gamma Fraternity

Foundation

At the 1936 National Convention, Delta Gamma officially adopted Sight Conservation and Aid to the Blind as our national philanthropy. Since then all Delta Gammas have been Doing Good through their work with Service for Sight.

The Atlanta Alumnae Chapter has developed strong bonds with several Atlanta Area vision organizations, allowing us to fulfill our commitment to the fraternity’s philanthropy.

Vision Walk

The Atlanta Alumnae chapter participated in the 3rd Annual Foundation Fighting Blindness VisionWalk at Centennial Olympic Park. More than $73,7000 has been raised by the Atlanta VisionWalk.

Foundation Fighting Blindness holds VisionWalks all over the country, with Delta Gammas participating nationwide. VisionWalk is the national signature fundraising event of FFB.  Since its inception in 2006, the program has raised over $8 million to fund sight-saving research.  To read more about the Atlanta walk and see pictures, go here.

The Atlanta DG chapter provided a Community Partner Sponsorship at the Supporter Level and were represented by Amy Falzone, Chase Stacy, four-legged friend Kaya and Aimee Guanlao.

Red & White Ball

The Atlanta Delta Gamma Alumnae Chapter proudly hosts The Annual Red & White Ball. The Ball benefits middle and high school youth in the Center for the Visually Impaired's STARS program. This fairytale prom is complete with decorations, gifts, snacks, a live DJ and crowning of King & Queen of the Ball.

Delta Gamma provides the funding and planning of this great philanthropic event. With everyone's generosity, we are able to make this a very memorable event for all attendees!

True Blue do

"True Blue Do" is the primary fund raising event for the Center for the Visually Impaired. This past year the event raised more than $130,000. All money raised by "True Blue Do" benefits CVI's programs and services that are available for Georgians of all ages who are blind or visually impaired.  Delta Gamma is a proud sponsor of this exciting night!
